I hear a lot of crap about Manning is a real Bronco. Sorry but we drafted the other guy. We’re renting this  Manning guy and it’s never worked for teams renting a QB at the end of their career.

We’re renting this guy for about three years at most if he stays healthy.

I’m more interested in who the Broncos draft at QB either this year or next. That will be the guy to take over when the Broncos are ready to really make a Super Bowl run.

Team still has a lot of holes. Especially the offensive line. The way it is now, Willis McGahee ain’t gonna get no 1,000 yards and Mr. Manning may find life difficult in Denver when defenses pin their ears back and come straight at us. Both in the passing game and running game.

There’s a chance reality may be devastating come November.

The Jets just traded a sixth and a fourth round pick to the Broncos for Tim Tebow and a seventh round pick.

You know, I’ve been a Broncos fan for over 35 years and this is one season where I may actually change the channel.

As you may know, I’m not enthused with the Manning signing. I didn’t think he was a good fit from the start. I don’t believe the Broncos are capable of a Super Bowl in the short time we’ll have him. We’ll have to be very lucky acquiring players. I don’t believe our running game will be as good with him and our defense needs about six starters before it can be labeled Super Bowl ready.

Can this offense adjust to becoming a pass first attack all of a sudden? Lots of questions there, I see a lot of people celebrating like the Broncos are on the verge of a Super Bowl now. I believe we’re on the verge alright, but I think the verge will be as far as we get. Will renting this guy for three years be worth it?

Maybe, but maybe not. We’ll see. I’m thinking we’ll need to look towards the next QB, the guy the Broncos draft this year… or will they even do that?

Last I heard, the Broncos are interested in the name “Caleb Hanie.”

I’ll tell you, if this Tebow kid goes off and does well for the Jets and the Broncos turn into mediocre Colt-wanna-bes it’s gonna strain my relationship with the Broncos. That is, until the current regime is run right out of dodge.

If that scenario occurs, the damnation of the Sharpes, the Hoges, the Legwolds, the Stinks, the McGahees and the general blogosphere who championed this move… the severe damnation will be surreal.

It will be surreal and unending until the current Broncos brass are run right the hell out of dodge.

I see that McGahee popping off once again, along with all the usual “Tebow-haters.” Not surprising since he mocked the very offense that allowed him 1,000 yards and started belly aching when things didn’t go right towards the end of the season.

Tell you something there McGahee, enjoy the 1,000 yards you had this year.

You sure as hell ain’t getting that this year.

I’ve been hearing people getting all pissed off writing to Peyton Manning on Twitter and otherwise.

Peyton Manning is blameless in this fiasco.

If Manning goes down behind our O-line due to a re-aggravated neck injury mid-season, it’s not Peyton Manning’s fault.

If the Broncos fail to make the playoffs this year it’s not Peyton Manning’s fault.

If the “Colts West” experiment doesn’t end with a Super Bowl in three years (by the way, does anyone actually think Manning will play out a FIVE year contract?)

It’s not Manning’s fault.

If this little experiment doesn’t work out — and I’m certainly not enthused — it’s not Manning’s fault.

Direct your attention to this man instead:

Does anyone even consider the scenario where Tebow goes off and plays well and the Broncos Colts experiment doesn’t really pan out?

Talk about a disaster.

If Peyton Manning to the Broncos is the ultimate upgrade, then this team better get to the AFC Championship this year.

After all, shouldn’t his talent equate to one better game than last season?

It’s a tough schedule this year, but then again we just had a tough schedule last year and we persevered. Interesting to note that we faltered big time out of the gate last year in the easiest part of the schedule with a pure pocket passer.

Failure to reach the AFC Championship round next year will result in devastation hitherto never before seen or heard.

After all, we have a QB who can pass now, right?

We sure upgraded our quarterback today.

At the same time we downgraded the running game and pass blocking.

Forget everything I wrote about offense in my 2012 offseason want list.

This team will require new offensive linemen. At least two. Starters, not maybe’s. We will require more help at receiver and tight end.

If this team fails to reach the AFC Championship this year it will be John Elway’s fault, and not Peyton Manning’s.

I’m not all that enthused about this move. We’re not a great team, not a great defense, not a great pass blocking team, we don’t have great receivers. The Broncos have a lot of holes to fill.

If Peyton Manning wants a challenge, he’s got it.

The Broncos are interested in DE John Abraham but the Peyton Manning decision (or lack thereof) is paralyzing our front office. Sources claim this has bought enough time for the Falcons to re-sign the pass rusher.

To those who claim we were never interested in Mario Williams because we’re supposedly stacked at DE? You can never, I repeat never have enough pass rushers.

Mario Williams however, would have been a great signing. Yes it’s a lot of coin but he’s in the PRIME of his career. A great young player at a position like that demands a premium price tag.

Instead, Bucky Elway’s still waitin’ on his aging pocket passer… trying to make some sense.

A source close to one of my cousin’s friends claims they saw safety Dale Carter on a flight headed to Denver.

Could this mean the beginning of the Broncos amazing 2012 free agency signings?

Or does the front office still have their thumbs up their asses waitin’ on Peyton?

Things are officially heating up for the Broncos in free agency.

A source close to the Broncos reports RB Maurice Clarett, WR Marcus Nash and QB Jake Plummer were all seen getting off a bus at the Broncos Dove Valley headquarters.

These players still have tread on their tires and could fill huge needs for the Broncos folks.
