Brandon Marshall Traded to Miami

For the Dolphins second rounder this year and a second rounder in 2011.

Didn’t think old Tuna would put up with Marshall, but it’s just a matter of time before the meltdown.

Finally, the Brandon Marshall era is over in Denver.

With the trade of Tony Scheffler, Shanahan’s grip on the Broncos will finally wither… This is truly Josh McDaniels team.

Like I’ve said all along, the great McDaniels will purge this team of the me first, spoiled, prima donna players–and he did.

I hope some of you sea cucumbers out there who thought the Broncos were bringing Marshall back in 2010 realize my words were iron in this situation.

Could have saved some of you rubes the trouble of looking like fools in that regard, I been saying since day one of the offseason he’s gone and we’ll take what we can get.

We’re better off, the cancer is gone, good luck Tuna, good luck taming “the Beast” Miami: You’re gonna need it.

I predicted the dismissal of Shanahan–but that was easy. I predicted the dismissal of Jay Huckdort Cutler for months before it happened–nobody saw that one coming. Now, I’ve predicted the dismissal of Brandon Marshall.

You would think the Marshall prediction was easy… until you look back at what some of these rubes were saying. “Oh he’ll be back with the Broncos in 2010,” “Oh we won’t trade him for anything less than a first and a third,” “Anything less than a first and I’ll be furious…” what a joke.

He’s gone, the Brandon Marshall sideshow is over in Denver and they should be setting up tents in Miami. Just a matter of time… with every loss, with every ball that don’t quite get to him, with every drop… just a matter of time.

Two second rounders. I think we did well. Especially considering what all these other receivers were going for. And although Marshall was kind of a twerp, I think I'll be sad whenever he winds up getting himself murdered over there.

Also, I wouldn't go wild with this end of Shanahan's grip nonsense. If you say that, then what about other key players that came from Shanahan? Like Clady, Dumervil, DJ Williams? And those are just three guys. There are still a few more guys left over that Shanahan brought in that mean alot to this team. It's not like dumping Scheffler now is going to rid the entire team of Shanahan's influence. Really, there's no such thing as Shanahan's grip. If there is, then the day Shanahan got fired was the day that his grip on the team was gone and the day that the Shanahan era ended. The Broncos became McDaniels' team when he was hired. I'm sure he's not actively thinking about how he wants to rid the team of Shanahan's influence. He just wants to build a team, and he's doing it his way.

One more thing; Tebow's headed to Colorado today. I hope he leaves a bad impression.

Good trade. Good riddance. Good value at pick #43 in this deep pool of players. I'd rather have the two number twos than say a late first rounder (25ish).

Clady and Dumervil haven't been there that long. The ass-end of the Shanahan era was rife with players of questionable character and me-first, spoiled losers. All acquired through desperation. Last year was a transition–dealing with some of Shanny's baggage. You got that Marshall dissenting, punting footballs in practice, you got that Scheffler who “can't wait” til the season ends. Linemen who don't fit… Hillis–he probably said something about the coaches wife. It's McDaniels team 100 percent, no excuses this year.

The icy grip of Shanahan will wither and will be rendered impotent when that Scheffler gets his walking papers.

You would think “Marshall not being a Bronco this year” would be the prevailing wisdom–not to many sea cucumbers out there. I bet some of them are still in denial. “They won't trade him, they can't get fair value,” “We'll sign him to a tender and franchise him after next year,” “If we can't get a first rounder there's no way we'll trade him.” This, all over the blogosphere and forums out there–until April or so when most people came to their senses.

Furthermore, I haven't cut a fart that's stunk in three and a half years now.

But Dumervil was in the same draft class as Marshall and Scheffler (and Cutler). He should count the same. He's a punk ass too. Don't you remember in college when he stuck his knee under Marcus Vick's foot and got him in trouble? That was pretty messed up. That was as dirty of a play as I've ever seen.

Chris Kuper was even part of that same draft class. He's stuck with the same stink as all the above guys. Who else was in that draft? Domenik Hixon. He's the one who broke that guy's neck, wasn't he? That whole draft was full of trouble makers. We've almost got them all gone. Best get rid of the rest while we can still get something for them; before they all wind up in prison or suspended or something.
