Lendale White Denver Broncos

Lendale White tore his Achilles tendon in last night’s game against Minnesota and is done for the season. This is unfortunate. Anyone who says this loss is “no biggie” doesn’t understand the Broncos running woes. “He doesn’t do much, he only gets X yards per carry,” –is a bunch of crap. We needed White out there in certain situations, he could have been a big contributor to this offense this year in short yardage situations. Look at the first touchdown we scored last night and tell me which running back gets in the end zone on that play besides White–probably none of them.

We need a bruiser for short yardage and now we don’t got that, so it isn’t “no big deal.” I wanted us to draft a guy like that–at least the Broncos should now realize an element this team needs. We need a Lendale White, we need a Mike Anderson type force out there in short yardage.
