I think it’s a good possibility that Brandon Marshall’s be(a)st days are behind him, and that his holdout is a last-ditch effort to cash in before the rest of the league finds out.

Were he not in doubt about his ability to produce this year, Brandon would have come in to show the explosiveness that allowed him to get separation in his rookie year and the hands that have fully recovered from the fast-food-bag nerve injury (If you believe that). More importantly, he would keep out of trouble in order to mitigate his character issues. Then, he’d be bargaining from a position of strength.

The fact that he’s holding out while injured and awaiting trial says a lot more than what any team official or agent could speak to.
