Demaryius Thomas tore his Achilles tendon and now the number one priority of the Broncos offseason is reworking Brandon Lloyd’s contract.

It’s not that we should give him what he asks at all costs… Like I’ve said before, it’s not wise to tie up a whole bunch of money in a receiver or a cornerback.

I have nothing against Brandon Lloyd, but if he wants an absolutely huge contract he can get it elsewhere.

Lloyd deserves more than he is being paid but I happen to think he will be reasonable. I happen to think the Broncos will give him a reasonably larger contract. Especially now, since the Broncos have lost leverage in the matter.

Let’s face it, there’s a chance Thomas could be done. There’s a chance he comes back, gets injured again and thus cements the already bad feeling I have that he is simply injury prone. I know one thing, I don’t want to see him returning kicks anymore if and when he does come back. He never did that before, he wasn’t all that great at it, plus Royal and Decker do that just fine.

What the hell is going on with this Broncos team anyways? Offseason injuries out the ying yang. I want something done, I want new trainers. I don’t care how good they currently are, I think they are downright jinxed the way things are going.
