Ha, your name is hilarious. Yes... defense still starving for top caliber players. I agree. Particularly players of size. I can't stand to watch small and fast players fail to demonstrate that they understand how to tackle and WRAP THE PLAYER UP for another season. But we'll see, maybe they see something in some of the remaining picks we don't. Or maybe they have a trade up their sleeve.

I'm still lamenting what might have been. Orakpo, Ayers, Maualuga, & Moala were all available when our turn came and we came away with only Ayers, 2 backup DB's, a blocking TE, and a running back that frankly we just didn't need. For a long time, Coach Turner and our offensive line have been able to come up with some pretty outstanding production from the running game without blowing first round picks. We're starving for quality defenders and it looks like we will continue to starve. Dumb picks on draft day resulted in years of mediocrity and disappointment and I'm really tired of it. I try to look at the bright side of things but it's pretty hard right now. We should rack up around 40 points a game but I wonder if that will be enough.

I'm liking the Moreno pick. Now we have a one-two punch when we play San Diego.
