Paige is a jinx and his opinions of who the Broncos are and what they should do are continuously inept and inadequate.

My pertinence will not be bifurcated.

My accuracy is scathing.

I am reality.

I'd like to see us pick a quarterback in the third fourth or fifth round next year. Or we might get someone in free agency, someone with at least a little NFL experience under their belt. Whether Brandstater is the bona fide no. 2 starting next year's schedule will depend on his development and his preseason, I'd rather have the potential for a more solid no. 2 option going into the preseason though, such as bringing in a kid with measurable talent, or a veteran presence, rather than a maybe (Brandstater). He had one good preseason game, and he had a train wreck. The jury's out on him afaic and he can't be that far along if he hasn't even been getting the reps Simms is getting. According to that Legwold, a guy at the Post that actually reports some useful information as of late: "The No. 3 QB usually gets work with the scout team offense, which means he is working in the opponent's offense, trying to give the defense a quality look in practice all week."

There will be hoopla over drafting a top quarterback thanks to the demise of Huckdort and the Bears. I don't think we go that route, not unless Orton were to blow hoagies out his ass in the tail end of the season. Blowing hoagies out his ass and wallowing in it at midfield, then we'd reassess. As of now, I see us picking a guard or defensive lineman in the first round instead.

McDaniels values an intelligent player who knows the system, he wanted that Cassels cause he made strides in teaching him his Master Class. He knew trying to get Huckdort to listen was a train wreck waiting to happen, besides the fact that Hucky didn't look right, didn't protect the ball, thought he was better than John Elway and probably didn't smell right neither.

Is Will Woody Paige in disguise? I think 8-8 is the best we can hope for at this point. They'll beat KC and OAK here, but not KC there (December games in KC are death for DEN). The rest are comfortable losses. At least the Bears keep losing and we have a chance for a nice draft pick. Maybe a QB?

Dear PP Dublinski,

Please stay on topic. If you're going to write about Woody Paige, write about Woody Paige. If you're going to write about the Broncos' mistakes, write about those. Woody Paige has nothing to do with the Broncos' mistakes.

I really feel like I just wasted five minutes reading an entry that is scattered, incoherent, and not on point.
