Well, there you go. I told McDaniels he defied me by not bringing in a large, bruising running back this offseason. He listened to me, and heeded my advice right quick, but we should have drafted one, this guy could even get cut. Going back to his old coach Petey Carroll then getting the axe doesn’t look good. We need a big guy like that in the backfield, I’m OK with this signing just as long as Mr. White doesn’t find his own Double Rainbow driving around with Phil Simms’ kid anytime soon.

Tebow agrees to five year deal between 11.5 and 12 million with the Broncos. Get ready people, it’s only a couple days until Tebow Time, Elvis has entered the building folks.

We’ve nabbed a boatload of picks, only given up a 4th to move from 24th to 22nd. The brilliance of McDaniels is on display for all to see baby.

Broncos now have the 13th pick, they swapped spots with the 49ers for a fourth round pick (113) in this year’s draft. We also have the 114th pick in the fourth round.

Getting tired of these reports of the Broncos being Tebow’s biggest suitors and even “moving up” to grab him in the first.

Grossman, Weurffel , Leak, Matthews, Johnson– all Gators, all less than mediocre NFL quarterbacks.

I suppose we’ll negate the effectiveness of our Pro Bowl starting left tackle so Teebs can jimmy around and throw a dipsy doodle to an opposing team’s defensive lineman.

Somebody else will draft this guy, hopefully they’ll move up in front of the Broncos somewhere to do it because McDaniels masterfully bluffed.

Fox Sports Jay Glazer reports the Broncos traded FB Peyton Hillis and two conditional draft picks for QB Brady Quinn.

Oh well, we’ll see about Quinn, he’ll have every chance to do something in Denver, if he can do something. He’s got potential and he learned a similar system under that Charlie Weis. We could still draft a QB this year, but now I don’t think it will be anywhere in the first three rounds.

I’m hoping one of the the conditional picks we gave up is a late round pick next year.

Broncos traded FB Peyton Hillis, a 2011 6th-round draft selection and a late-round 2012 pick to Cleveland for quarterback Brady Quinn.

Not a bad deal. If they think he can perform he stays on, and if he don’t he could even get cut and we’re no worse for wear. Weren’t even using Hillis, and probably couldn’t get more than a 6th rounder for him anyways.

We signed that Jamal Williams. Very good, lets hope he’s got at least two great years in him. Plus, he’ll probably be in a rotation here–Brilliant.

Glad we stole him from the Bolts–Klis, you’ve been a decent purveyor of truths at the Post but you may want to wait before jumping the gun: Jamal Williams not happening here.

A surprise signing, I expected one big name guy on the line and most of them got franchised.

Hopefully he stays healthy. Plus, in the same day we get a guy who can contribute some sacks (like I said–we can’t have one guy making them all)

Time to draft offense.

I heard we’re bringing back Brandon Marshall for a one-year, ten million dollar deal.

Then we’ll sign LT from the Chargers cause he’s certainly at a point in his career where he’ll hit the hole with gusto.

I heard Donovan McNabb is gonna be the Broncos new quarterback. Then we’re still gonna draft Timmy Tebow so he can make two trick plays in the wildcat for us.

Dumervil’s on his way to Miami since Nolan’s better than McDaniels.

We’re gonna sign Terrell Owens to play opposite Marshall, then McNabb is gonna be throwing to Marshall and Owens in 2010.

Don’t believe all this nonsense. I bet more than half the time over at that rumor central, I bet more than half the time the “league source” is some Jimmy DaRula selling hot dogs outside the stadium who thought he heard something on his illegal scanner. Bring back Brandon Marshall for a year?
