Coach probably told him to, so he can get a feel for when he does it in live action. After all, we all know–or should know–he’ll be running more than he passes.

Rookie CB Alphonso Smith was seen with an ice pack around his left knee.

QB Chris Simms seems to have sprained his ankle.

The Denver Post is reporting the severe ankle sprain Denver Broncos LB Boss Bailey suffered in last week’s Houston game is likely to keep the linebacker sidelined for up to four weeks. He could possibly return to the field in as little as two weeks depending on how quickly the swelling in his ankle heals.

Broncos linebacker Louis Green was released from the hospital and will accompany the team on its flight back to Denver. Great news for his family and Bronco fans. Source: NFL.com

850 KOA radio reports Broncos linebacker Boss Bailey who was carted off in the Houston vs Denver game has a sprained ankle. Louis Green was carted off also in the first quarter and is reported to have much more serious injuries with a concussion and neck injury.
