Alert: Tebow Spotted at Six Flags Amusement Park

Woody Paige Tim Tebow

Listen up all you rubes, I’ve been informed that Timmy “the Gadget” Tebow was just spotted on the Shipwreck Falls ride at Elitch Gardens. Get in your cars and get down there right this minute, maybe you can get your mini helmets and drink coasters signed. Don’t drive too fast now, don’t want to get a ticket for trying to catch Timmy Teebs. Park security claims there is some “gooned out fool” hanging off the back of the ride who is “desperately trying to call John Elway on his cellphone.”

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if the goober hanging off the back turned out to be that Numby, or should I say, “Mr. Objectivity,” at the Denver Post.

Numby Watch 3/20

Numbnuts Woody Paige

Numby’s latest “mailbag” at the Post starts off with this question:

Woody: Once in a while when I read your column, I wonder if you or a reader is giving up too much information on a public forum on the team’s intentions on the draft or whatever the team will be doing for the next game. Have you heard of another team getting unintended inside intel from a mailbag or article that they’ve used to their advantage?
— Bob E., Washington, D.C.

Bob E., whoever you is, allow me to answer this question better than Numby ever could.

While other teams may get valuable intel at times from reading other sources, there’s not a chance in hell that Numby is ever giving up too much Broncos information. Numby’s info is only sopped up as gospel truths by sea cucumbers, morons, degenerates and garden variety ignoramus’s who emanate odoriferous logic and woefully insufficient tact.

For example: We should pay Brandon Marshall 50+ million, the Broncos were never interested in picking Ryan Clady, Ryan Clady isn’t all that great of a player, the Broncos will go 16-0 in 2008 and 4-12 in 2009, Simms should be the starter, Nolan was the first mistake of the Josh McDaniels era and the Broncos are picking Terence Cody.

Numby’s latest in a series of misfires has him stating Josh McDaniels and John Elway are not friends:

I talk to Elway occasionally, and the subject, honestly, hasn’t come up.

I don’t think McDaniels has ever met with Elway or invited him out to practice. So there’s no close relationship between Elway and the coach or the player.

A thoroughly porous dig at the coach who Numby believes “is not his own man.” Numby also stated “the wrong coach left town,” when Mike Nolan headed to Miami.

This week, a shocked and defeated Numby retracts his previous misinformed brain droppings:

He (Asst to HC, Mark Thewes) called to tell me that Elway and McDaniels have indeed established a good relationship, have talked on the phone “many times,” and that they’ve had lunch during the offseason (presumably at John Elway’s restaurant, not Mike Shanahan’s.)

Numby gets busted! Touche Numbnuts! Looks like your best buddy Elway is hanging with your hoody wearing nemesis McD after all. On top of that, they probably sit on the phone at times laughing their balls off at your latest moronic comments. No wonder why they ain’t telling that Numby nothing.

I got something for Numby to bring up with McDaniels in his annual interview (an interview I bet McDaniels loathes as a complete waste of time), how bout you tell McDaniels “The wrong coach left town,” when Nolan went to Miami?

Not a chance in hell that anyone around the league with more than half a brain in their heads are spying on Numby’s posts. Numby’s posts that are surely loaded with soaring football knowledge and spot on accuracy that only a true Broncos insider could muster.

Finally Some Reality

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

Besides my own, for I am reality.

Why would Denver let defensive coordinator Mike Nolan leave?

On the surface, this mutually agreed departure looks a little fishy, but in reality, it was best for both parties. Nolan wanted an opportunity to secure employment for himself in case there was a work stoppage, and the Broncos wanted to make sure they had coaches who wanted to be on staff. Sometimes change is good for both sides. Naysayers might look at Nolan’s departure to the Dolphins as a slap in head coach Josh McDaniels’ face, but I don’t.

McDaniels is a head coach, not just a play caller, which is why I think he’s going to win big in Denver. Most Broncos fans are skeptical about the strategy he employs, but for me, McDaniels clearly knows where he’s doing and knows the best course of action to take along the way. He must transform the Broncos into his team, and in spite of the initial progress they showed last season, it’s going to take time. It’s going to take him being involved in all three phases of the game to get them to behave and play the way he envisions. Losing Nolan allows McDaniels to become more involved with the whole team and lets Nolan obtain the security he wants. I really believe this is a win/win for both.

Now that’s some straight shootin’ Mr. Michael Lombardi.

By the way, we’re getting this guy?
Eric Studesville
Great acquisition, we seem to have gotten tougher already. Won’t be fun fumbling and coming back to that sideline, that’s for damn sure.

I keep seeing morons throwing out these flawed statistics from 08′ Numbnuts and his buddies from the Post keep spewing out there. Notice that Numbnuts trying to smear McDaniels left and right? Numbnuts is acting like someone’s thoroughly flailing and dejected ex-girlfriend. Mad as hell no one will even look at her.

Flawed. Huckdort Cutler and the utterly miraculous 2007-08 Denver Broncos never won anything. Thoroughly mediocre and overrated led by Huckdort and Marshall. All those stats are a bunch of crap, we didn’t win anything. Our defense sucked royally, and Huckdort was out there playing catchup constantly and failing miserably more times than not.

Them Numby’s at the Post are crying over the “glorious” Broncos offense in 2008, what a joke. They ain’t nothing to be proud of. More like an embarrassment led by a gooned out pick throwing overrated Huckdort.

We are heading in the right direction, it can’t be turned around fully in one year. This year it will be Josh McDaniels team. Also, can’t believe these goobers coming out of the woods saying our 09 draft class is a bust. I suppose it’s common knowledge that you judge a draft completely after one year. I suppose we should cut them the way these fools are talking. Would’ve love to see how these morons graded Elway his first year.

Sharpe, Davis Hall of Fame semifinalists

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Terrell Davis and Shannon Sharpe are among 25 semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2009 (source Rocky Mountain News). Here’s to hoping at least one of them gets to join Gary Zimmerman and John Elway in the Hall.

The Broncos also waived safety Roderick Rogers (Denver Post) after an unspectacular performance against Oakland on Sunday. In yesterday’s media chat transcript Mike Shanahan states he is still looking for someone to step up at the safety position. The team signed S Josh Barrett off their practice squad to active roster last week.

We’re Back and Broncos Notes

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

As you may know the site was hacked and after a few days finally I am able to get the admin accounts back into the site and all seems well (so far) I appreciate, and I’m sure Horvil does as well, your patience and thanks to some of you for firing back at that guy “PP” whatever that stands for. Hopefully they are satisfied with the attack and will leave the site alone, we’re taking every measure to bolster the site’s security.

Now for some quick Broncos notes:

Three Broncos players were hit with fines from last Monday’s horrible event. The article mentions wide receiver Chad Jackson and safety Chris Crocker may be new additions to the Broncos roster. The Post’s Mike Klis puts forth what he believes are some Broncos keys to success for after the bye week. Last Monday was the first time in a long time I actually decided not to watch the second half of the Broncos game after 10 minutes or so in. Talking with Horvil about it, he thinks there should have been more fines which I’m sure will come up in his belated analysis.

RMN’s Bernie Lincicome wonders who the real Jay Cutler is due to Cutler’s recent less than stellar performances in light of his almost flawless start to the season.

Andrew Joynt writing for CBS4Denver seems optimistic that the Broncos will make the playoffs citing weak AFC west opponents.

It’s old news, and it’s painful, but just because we weren’t able to get to it, Boss Bailey and Patrick Ramsey out for the season while Champ Bailey will sit at least a month with a groin injury.

Frank Schwab of the Colorado Springs Gazette looks at the current injury situation in Denver and mentions Brandon Stokely looks to be recovering well after his concussion.

Lastly, John Elway lays the smack down on the Raiders organization claiming JaMarcus Russell needs to get out of Oakland if he wants to find any success in the NFL.
