That’s why Numby changed his tune from saying pay Marshall 50 million to the latest “he’s not worth it.”

Well thank you Captain Obvious.

Can you believe this guy? He ain’t even serious. People are catching on:

Rotoworld: We generally take columnists’ opinions with a grain of salt (especially Woody Paige), but it’s true that McDaniels has yet to endorse Marshall’s return.

Especially Numby, since he’s perennially wrong.

Better late than never, I guess.

To all those who believe Marshall will still be a Bronco this year, send me an email: I got some Sham-Wow’s and Slap-Chops I want to sell you. Oh, and if you email quick I’ll also throw in the “Graty” for an extra five dollahs.

Seriously, who would you rather sign? Brandon Marshall or Terrell Owens? Owens is the same type of receiver with the same antics and headaches, but Owens is without the risk of suspension and he would cost much less.

We don’t want neither, but just sayin’

Woody Paige doesn’t belong in the Denver Post sports section.

Paige is nothing more than a sideshow. He is a comic, and the worst kind since he more than often falls flat. In his supreme arrogance Paige believes our young coach ought to hang on his every elder word.

After all, ol’ Woodrow’s been around the Broncos a long time. I heard he knows people. He even has dinner with Mike Shanahan.

Supposedly, Josh McDaniels will not consider the advice or any articles penned by the mighty Paige. When Woodrow recently (and stupidly) told the coach to “Be his own man,” he claims McDaniels in turn wouldn’t even look at him.

Bear with me folks, this is a long one…

Back in 2008 the great Paige claimed the Broncos weren’t interested in Ryan Clady. He also claimed Clady was an average player and wasn’t too high on him.

At the beginning of the 2008 NFL season, Woody Paige claimed the Broncos would end up 11-5.

Paige claims he was one of the most vocal supporters of Shanahan’s firing in 2008.

I suppose when things started looking bad mid-season, ol’ Woodrow jumped the proverbial ship on the wonderful 11-5 Broncos he predicted.

Come to think of it, Paige probably saw my youtube video in late September of that year, where I claimed Shanahan must go and Cutler didn’t look right, didn’t protect the ball and wasn’t no John Elway. I even went as far to say we should get rid of him, multiple times. Unfortunately it wasn’t on here for too long, as in those days I had different means of getting on this site. But no matter, I pounded it home until finally they both got their asses booted out the door. Anyone could see Shanahan stayed on too long. Not many seemed to perceive that Huckdort as a poor man’s Favre, if that.

In early 2009 Paige claimed the first mistake of the Josh McDaniels era was hiring Mike Nolan as our defensive coordinator.

The genius also stated the franchise would be lost if we didn’t pay Cutler gobs of money since the disgruntled QB was off in Nashville sucking on a wooden whistle. Or a sour apple by the looks of him. That’s how far behind those goobers are down there, wooden whistles for cryin’ out loud. Sure would suit that gnarled, misaligned Huckdort. In case you missed it, Jay “Hucks” the ball and “Dort” he gets picked off. Twenty six dorts by the way, I thought he was supposed to be the final piece up their in Chicago.

All off season long, Paige went on and on about how bad the Denver Broncos were shaping up to be. He second guessed every move the coach made and came away from the preseason believing the Broncos would be no better than a 4-12 team. Oh, and Chris Simms was the better quarterback. Insinuating that obviously McDaniels was starting Orton because he had to save face in the Cutler trade. McDaniels didn’t know quarterback talent according to the great Paige.

The Broncos get off to a 3-0 start and Paige goes back on his prediction. This is something you cannot do, but he’s the great Woody Paige and in his sordid world he can evidently do anything and not get called out for it. Paige then claims the Broncos could go 5 and 11, maybe 6 and 10… which was an absolute joke. Talk about weakness.

After the team goes 6-0 all of a sudden the great Paige turns over a new leaf.

‘McDaniels worth his weight in gold.”

Everything McMidas has touched with the Broncos has turned to gold: the management crises, the quarterback conundrum, the wide receiver saga, the defensive coordinator appointment, the 3-4 transition.

The Doom switch to linebacker, the Gloom defense, selecting a running back at the top of the draft (and not a defensive lineman), the free-agent acquisitions in the defensive backfield and at running back and wide receiver, the offensive scheme changes.

The miraculous victory in Cincinnati and the impressive late victories against Dallas, New England and San Diego, the return of Eddie Royal to return man and the returns.

The fist pump, the hoodie, the stars and vertically stripes forever.

And a 6-0 start.

Take a breath and take a bye.

Josh McDaniels has become America’s Prodi-Gee Whiz . . . Man

All of a sudden, the train wreck in Denver Paige told us about for months came safely to a halt. Supposedly now everything McDaniels did was right: practically the opposite of everything Paige bellyached about.

Two losses later, our boy Woodrow believed Chris Simms should be the starter. He talked up Simms like he should have been the starter all along and that Simms was “stronger” in training camp. Kyle from BroncoTalk busted Paige, Kyle attended practically every Broncos training camp practice, and claimed he witnessed the great Paige attend “maybe two,” of them.

I wonder what Paige was doing the rest of the time during Broncos training camp? Sitting on a white bowl somewhere blowing hoagies out his ass? That paper is paying this guy money?

Next we saw Woody’s starting quarterback in action, and it wasn’t pretty. This Paige can’t buy a break. He’s perennially wrong, and when he turns around and heaps praise the team takes an absolute nosedive.

Predictably, Paige goes back to to his previous stance and bashes the Broncos. All of a sudden, everything McDaniels did is now terrible again. The hoodie that was “forever” is now a major thorn in Paige’s side.

Then this guy adamantly claims we got to pay Elvis Dumervil and Brandon Marshall fifty million plus asap. Are you kidding me? Brandon Marshall? After all we’ve been through with Marshall? We’re gonna pay him fifty million plus? Are you out of your mind? Good thing McDaniels don’t ever listen to this buffoon.

Josh McDaniels did something to Woody Paige. I’m sure of it. Or didn’t do something. For a while I thought he probably told Paige he gave off a foul odor. Now I’m thinking McDaniels simply treats Paige like a clown. Unbeknown to Paige, that’s exactly what he is.

I give my opinion, which is based on sound information, thoughtful research and observation…

Earth to Paige: your opinions suck.

Woody Paige now has his nose so far up Mike Shanahan’s ass he’s choking on the dingleberries and everyone can see it. Bragging about having dinner with Shanahan… talking up the complexion of the former Broncos coach. What an absolute joke. Maybe somebody in Washington might care for a second.

However, the most important upcoming Grudge Match — mark it on your calendar — is in 2013 when the Broncos host the Redskins.

Is that right, eh? That’s the damn grudge match we’re all supposed to be waiting for eh Woodrow? What a fat piece of crap. That’s a bowl full of it. You know what I’m waiting for? The start of the preseason. I’m waiting for the Chargers, that’s the damn grudge match. Woody Paige ought to butt sniff and brown nose all the way to Washington. After all, Paige is a politician – and a poor one at that.

You got political pundits, siding with this one and that one. Then when someone doesn’t do what they want they crap all over them. That’s Paige for you, a biased politician who don’t even seem to care about this team since they don’t do every little thing he wants them to. McDaniels ain’t gonna stroke your ego Paige, hye’s too smart for that, and considering your recent track record he’s all the better off for it too. I’m telling you this McDaniels hurt poor Woody boy’s feelings somewhere along the way. Damn smart of him not to listen to that loser Paige. McDaniels don’t give him info, and it’s smart. It’s like a Republican talking to a known Liberal reporter or vice versa. You don’t tell them nothing cause they’re out to smear you. Belichick taught him well.

Paige is fickle, weak, spineless, a loser, and he sucks.

Go to Washington you misshapen fart. You can be Shanahan’s water boy. That would suit you.

We’re in in January now, and Paige, the Denver Post sports writer is talking up Shanahan and all the great moves he’ll probably make. Paige also predicts the Broncos will go 8-8 this season.

You can’t be serious? Probably the most spineless option too, 8-8 is.

It comes down to this: This guy isn’t serious and he shouldn’t ever pretend to be. He should be stricken from the Denver Post sports page. Send him to the comics section and cut his pay. He’s being paid for this nonsense, and he’s giving the Denver Post a bad name. Unless they are enjoying the mere tabloid nonsense of their “crazy uncle” in the Broncos section.

Therefore, I am striking the name of Woody Paige from this site forever. Stricken from every book and tablet on here, just as Pharoah did to Moses.

From this point forward, “Woody Paige” will forever be known as “Numbnuts.”

Or, “Numbnuts the Clown.”

Numby claims Josh McDaniels ought to be his own man… Maybe Numby ought to stick to his own words, for once.

Eh, beeb?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0i691y3Y98Y

That’s right, Huckdort Jay is killing the team up there in Chicago. Probably three losses due to dorts. Huckdort could’ve been the hero, he could’ve been John Elway in the fourth quarter but instead: he dorted.

The last one was the immaculate dort. Not a receiver around for miles and no chance in hell of being a touchdown to win the game.

According to Woody Paige’s indisputable logic it’s time for the Bears to bench Cutler and start Caleb Hanie. The great Caleb Hanie is waiting in the wings, they don’t pay him and keep him on the roster for nothin. Surely Huckdort Jay has been a detriment to the team, surely he can’t throw the deep ball with accuracy and surely he’s been killing the team’s chances of winning games.

Paige, who has called for the benching of Kyle Orton after two bad games for the offense and two bad throws.

Up there in Chicago, they’re up to 17 bad throws.

I told a friend of mine four dorts just before the San Francisco game last night, he predicted two. I don’t t know why I went so high, the 49ers ain’t all that, but I just had a feeling.

Huckdort even out dorted my prediction.

You see them analysts after the game? Bending over backwards to point out some of the throws were definitely, absolutely, positively not the fault of Jay Huckdort Cutler? What the hell was that?

You think they’d do the same for Orton? I doubt it, after all, Jay Huckdort Cutler is a Pro Bowler. Let’s not forget that one folks. If Orton threw 17 picks he would be the laughing stock of the league, hell McDaniels would have benched him well before that number of picks. Unacceptable.

Ron Turner's new strategy: "Don't throw to the fat guys."

Well not so for Huckdort, Huckdort Jay is a Pro Bowler with a golden arm. Huckdort Jay is the franchise we traded away to the Bears and deserves excuse after excuse for almost single-handedly killing the team.

This year and last.

A million dollar arm with a ten cent head. A ten cent head and a five cent haircut.

Lovie realizes Jay Huckdort Cutler doesn't look quite right at a press conference, Friday, April 3, 2009, in Lake Forest, Ill. AP Photo

I don’t know how Lovie keeps a straight face when they look over some of these picks on the sidelines. You see that first dort? Just throw it away, but he can’t help himself. This is probably why McDaniels knew he had to go and was going to have a hell of a time working with this gooned out pick thrower. He don’t learn.

18 dorts last year and how many fumbles? He don’t protect the ball.

He don’t protect the ball, don’t look right and he ain’t no John Elway.

He is killing the Bears team and it’s time to start Caleb Hanie. Give this Hanie a look and if it’s a disaster just put Huckdort back in at halftime, right Woody Paige?

In Paige’s miserable, babbling, flawed universe we’d bench Orton and create a bona fide quarterback controversy at the midway point of the season with a 6 and 2 record.

If anyone deserves to be benched, it’s Jay Huckdort Cutler for his unbelievable interceptions that are piling up and may even reach an inconceivable but possible thirty dorts.

Paige is so demented, I bet he still thinks Huckdort is our quarterback. I bet Paige has been watching Chicago every week instead of the Broncos, since they got our franchise and has the two teams mixed up. It must be. The 4 and 12 record and calling for the quarterback to be benched are genius if you’re talking about the Chicago Bears.

Someone's crazy uncle, tongue lapping about, gets paid for this nonsense

I read an article from that Kyle over there at BroncoTalk. He knows. He effin’ knows Paige’s sordid game. Kyle thinks Paige may have had that article to bench Orton just waiting to run since the preseason. Just waiting to pounce, and he’s probably right. Paige’s deception and distortion, trying to make himself look like a genius and it always blows up. I’ve come to the conclusion that Paige isn’t serious. He’s not serious.

The problem is Paige has poor tact, he peddles distortions and poor logic left and right, but yet he’s given a pedestal to do so and is considered a “prominent voice in the Denver sports media.” That is a joke, and a disgrace. This guy, who is perennially wrong, this guy represents you and me the fans? What a joke. The rest of the media picks right up on it, “Denver media already calling for the benching of Orton.” What an absolute disgrace.

Paige needs to go, I don’t need to list how many times he’s been plain wrong. He needs to go, he is guilty of conduct detrimental to the team and his columns have spiraled into laughable tabloid nonsense. Especially this year since they didn’t get the coaches, players or quarterback he wanted. Maybe it’s time to cover a new team?

The reason I was pissed at this Pittsburgh game, besides the fact that the town has an odor, poor service, and inadequate everything, is that it tempered the enthusiasm of these dorts a bit. We have our own problems, we can’t run the effin’ football. I’d like to hear the analysts point out that Moreno ran into the referee, that the team can’t run the football and the receivers aren’t doing a good job of getting open. I’d like to hear them comment on our poor offensive line play as of late. They probably won’t, since Orton isn’t a golden armed Pro Bowler that poses for GQ. Buit no, our problems are clear: it’s just that Orton can’t throw downfield. He can’t throw the deep ball. He ain’t no winner.

How’s that deep ball up there in Chicago, eh? The same as it was last year in Denver I suppose. And that’s coming from the supposed master of deep balls with better receivers and a better offensive line. What was it 18 picks last year how many fumbles? Weren’t the Bears surely on the road to the playoffs?

We need to run the damn football and pass protect better. Our offense as a whole has been decrepit the last two games. They need to get their heads out of their asses. I said last week was a must win game, a statement game and I was shamed because of this decrepit offense. The playcalling was also unimaginative. The defense showed up, at least. These last two games have been close up until the fourth quarter, because of the defense, but with no help from the offense whatsoever they broke down. You can ask only so much of your defense, so many times, and without any help from the offense you can’t win like that.

Now we will see if the running game and the offense as a whole has been remedied in Washington. This Redskins team’s offense sucks. However, they have a good defensive front seven. This is exactly what the Ravens and Pittsburgh had, it was a big key in shutting down the Broncos offense the last two weeks so we’ll see how they’ve adjusted. I said we better win the Pittsburgh game or lose close. Well, we better damn sure win this Washington game. Then, taking San Diego to task will give the Broncos an 8 and 2 record, and should shut the pie holes of losers like Paige at least. The Baltimore and Pittsburgh game showed the Broncos Achilles heel, the way to attack them on defense, it is better for it to happen now, during midseason and fix it, than the first game in the playoffs. The playoffs which I fully expect to see the Broncos enter and be competitive after years of misses and mediocrity under the ass end of the Shanahan era.

But whatever, the room erupted last night, especially on the final game breaking dort and on the fourth dort where I almost blew out a disc when I jumped up after seeing Huckdort got rolled for good measure in addition to getting picked off. More importantly, they lost and our draft pick is looking better by the minute.

Magnificent air, crisp on Sunday,

Cardinals leading Bears upon boreal November peat,

Thirty four to twenty one with time to spare,

A comeback he could muster?

Oh that’s what they hope for Jay Huckdort Cutler,

He’s a stellar one don’t you see? How could you let him get away?

Arm strong and head full of bluster,

A comeback in the fourth quarter is what he’ll surely muster,

Oh that’s what they hope for Jay Huckdort Cutler,

Jay hucks the ball with savage grace, but lo it goes the other way,

Ensuring victory for Phoenix, to Huckdort’s dismay,

The obligatory pick,

Woe to them up in Chicago, Huckdort’s erratic as that Blago,

Errant throws and poor defense,

Sold the team’s future for an arm worth sixpence.

Oh how they still hope for Jay Huckdort Cutler.

I am highly irritated by the fact that at this time of writing the Huckdort counter has not been updated in a timely manner. Dereliction of duty. It should read 12.

What’s that I heard? McDaniels made a terrible mistake? Not trading our first round pick next year, but the first round pick we got from Chicago? Insane wasn’t it?

We may damn well be picking in the top ten next year.

You see that Huckdort? Huh? More of the same. I give credit to Mike Francessa of New York’s WFAN which I get on DirecTV. Funny how ESPN smeared and besmirched him in general at around the same time he made the comment last spring. He had the mental fortitude to point out maybe, just maybe…

Maybe instead of McDaniels being a stupid, ridiculous punk who doesn’t know talent and doesn’t know how to run a team…

Maybe instead of Pat Bowlen being senile and losing his mind…

Maybe, just maybe Huckdort Cutler was overrated. Maybe the problem wasn’t the organization, but instead Jay Huckdort Cutler.

Jay “Hucks” the ball and “Dort” gets picked off.

More of the same, pick throwing, pouting, fumbling and above all: losing.

Losing with or without a stellar offensive line. Losing with or without a good receiving corps. All this nonsense that if we still had Cutler “things would be different.”

Damn right they’d be different, we’d probably only have a paltry .500 record or worse. Those picks are killers. 12 of them so far.

His picks are absolute killers, they hand the other team the ball in bad spots, they give the other team hope and confidence. At all times. At any time Jay could Dort. They know it. That’s not even counting the additional fumbles.

Urlacher was correct in his unbridled enthusiasm: “I guess we upgraded at quarterback.”

The difference between Jay Huckdort Cutler and John Elway is clear: Elway won games. Elway could take a team like this Bears team, shoddy offensive line, just ok receivers, basic running game. Elway could take a team like this to the NFC championship or further. He was a winner, and made up for his interceptions with touchdowns and wins. Cutler isn’t Elway, that’s plain to see. He’s not even a Pro Bowl caliber quarterback yet. He got their by default last year.

I had a good laugh when I heard the Bears didn’t look but five minutes at Jay Huckdort Cutler’s tapes before they decided to pull the trigger on the deal. They obviously were wowed by a few bullet passes and completely missed all the interceptions, all the fumbling and jawing at his teammates.

Then again, to the commoner, he is a Pro Bowler you know.

That Bears team looks downright defeated and deflated. Maybe Huckdort’s losing ways rubbed off on the whole team like it seemed to last year, especially in the second half of the season. Their schedule is getting tougher too, I fully expect more Dorts. I am in preliminary discussions to throw a celebration when Huckdort throws his 20th pick. I think it can realistically happen and it will be glorious to behold.

I told you people right after the draft on them Denver Post forums: McDaniels made a statement to his team and Chicago by trading our pick next year: We will be better than the Bears.

I have more respect for Pat Bowlen. I was a bit sore at him keeping Shanahan on so long and giving him so much power. Shanahan will go on to coach and possibly coach well, but his time was over in Denver years ago. Pat Bowlen also wears brown suits, I am highly skeptical of people who wear brown suits. Bowlen hand picked Josh McDaniels. Not only this, but he terminated Jay Huckdort Cutler. All this crap about “how can you do this with a franchise quarterback,” Steve Young, Chris Collinsworth practically crying about it and Woody Paige lamenting the franchise is lost if Huckdort goes. Bowlen, on the other hand knew the truth: Screw him, the kid is overrated.

Some may think I am being egregious in continuing to terrorize Huckdort. But we have the Bears first pick next draft.

Plus, I was sick and tired of hearing: Huckdort’s a Pro Bowler, we traded the franchise away, how could you do this, what a blow to McDaniels, how can an organization do this, Huckdorts don’t come around very often, the sky is falling. I heard this nonsense ad nauseum. Now it’s time for come-uppins especially to the goobers who had the nerve to down-vote my truths and awe inspiring accuracy.

And lastly to Paige, if it was him that emailed me here’s my pre season prediction: on this site, and look no further than the Denver Post comments section under the very mockery that was Paige’s 4 and 12 prediction. It is only a paltry amount of information compared to the batting back of insufficient tact, the work I took on buffeting uneducated, unscrupulous and uninspiring Broncos information all off season long.

Maybe Woody Paige was correct, but he just had the wrong team. Maybe he made a little error in his 4 and 12 Broncos prediction this year. Just change the team to the Bears and ol Paige is looking like a bona fide genius.

Yet another emergency edition folks, I can’t just sit idly by and watch this nonsense:

I am a Dark Ninja from the Depths, and folks, this is unprecedented.

I suppose “Sage” Woody Paige has a personal vendetta against Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels.

McDaniels probably told old Woody that he didn’t look right, and Paige has been sore ever since.

The Broncos didn’t do what Woody Paige wanted, so now he is holding on to his 4 and 12 prediction, practically rooting for the Broncos to lose on Sunday so he can come out and say I told you so, they ain’t all that.

This is unbelievable.

Woody Paige knows it all folks, he knew Ryan Clady wasn’t all that and the Broncos probably wouldn’t pick him, he knew the Broncos would be 11 and 5 last year, he knew we traded the franchise away when we got rid of Jay “Huckdort” Cutler, he knew Knowshon Moreno was a “no-no.”

Paige has criticized McDaniels at every turn.

I suppose this is what happens when things get political. When the new coach doesn’t kiss Woody Paige’s rear end, when the new coach doesn’t make the moves or handles situations the way “genius” Woody Paige wants, then its time for Paige to use his position at the Denver Post to smear, belittle and besmirch McDaniels and the Broncos at every turn.

I’m beginning to wonder who it was that told Vonnie Holliday “Basically, you’re playing with a bunch of bums,” at the beginning of the season. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if it was one of these lazy pessimists writing for the Post. Even sounds like something the Sage Woody Paige would say, don’t it?

No excuses Paige, you seem to have a personal vendetta against the coach that has made you blind to your own flawed thinking. How arrogant of Paige to claim he’s been right often? This guy isn’t even aware of his failed predictions and flawed advice.

Woody Paige is waiting, hoping for the Broncos to lose this game so he can maintain his 4 and 12 position. How weak, how pathetic. How do you feel about that Denver fans? You’re columnist practically wants the team to fail since they didn’t do it his way, since McDaniels didn’t bow and kiss his ring.

What a joke, what a disgrace.

I said at the beginning of the year this Paige shouldn’t be allowed within ten feet of the Broncos for conduct detrimental to the team. I sure as hell stand by that statement, more than ever.

Woody Paige is offended that McDaniels stated people were uneducated about this Denver Broncos team, people like Paige here who have been smearing, belittling and claiming the franchise is done all off season long and into preseason. Hell Paige was the flag bearer, I wouldn’t doubt he informed Peter King and John Clayton, since they are too lazy to cover the Broncos themselves.

I told you people since Josh McDaniels was picked as head coach at the beginning of this year, that he is a winner, he knows how to pick’em, he will instill toughness and work ethic in this spoiled Shanahan team, he will do away with practicing without pads, we will tackle, we will not quit, the Dawkins signing was huge, that a man like Dawkins buying into McDaniels tells you something right off the bat, I claimed we would be improved and heading in the right direction.

Who am I Paige? What inside information was I privy to?

According to Paige, P.P. Dublinski is one of those “cheeto eating basement dwellers,” who don’t know a damn thing.

We’re seeing who the geniuses are, eh Paige?

There is no excuse for your pathetic Broncos insight and lazy journalism, you and I were watching the same damn preseason games. Yes the offense struggled a little, but you couldn’t come away saying we didn’t have talent and potential under a mind like McDaniels. This sure as hell wasn’t a 4 and 12 expansion team out there. You mean to tell me you watched these preseason games and came away thinking the Broncos defense was worse than last year? No excuses Paige.

Someone on the level of a sea robin could tell this team was improved, heading in the right direction and fighting til the final gun. Tackling, sacking, finishing runs, huge improvements over the spoiled, coddled practicing without pads Shanahan era.

No excuses Paige, you were wrong and the fans, players and most of all McDaniels deserves an apology.

But Paige is sticking to his guns folks, Paige still wants the Broncos to fail so he can be right.

It’s about Woody Paige folks, it’s not about the Broncos.

How arrogant.

McDaniels didn’t say the right things to him, probably dissed him, somebody didn’t do the things Paige wanted. How dare they go against the Post’s Woody Paige? How offensive.

How sad that some of you people actually think this buffoon, this bitter, arrogant fool is a genius.

I told people back in July they out to nix Paige’s column and have underprivileged Denver area kids write about how they like the Broncos and their favorite players. Doesn’t seem like such a bad idea now does it?

Better to leave the page enriched, than to suffer the arrogant ramblings of a crazy old man with a bitter green tongue lapping about, desperate to excuse the fact that he built his house on sand.

This guy’s getting six figures for his professional analysis? Talk about a drain on the economy. No wonder these papers are failing.

Update: John Clayton admits he misread the Broncos. There is a shred of honesty and decency at least in that goober. I am still waiting Woody Paige.

This is an emergency edition of P.P.’s Straight Shootin’ for there is a red alert in Denver.

I am a Dark Ninja of the Depths and no arrow can pierce me. My virility is legendary, and my supreme tact will rent gaping holes in walls and floors.

The Broncos recently acquired defensive end Vonnie Holliday tells Sports Illustrated that some asshat, some loser who is probably slithering around with the brain of a sea cucumber, some moron from the local Denver sports media told Mr. Holliday, “‘Basically,’ you’re playing with a bunch of bums.”

Now any normal Broncos fan who’s been around since last season, any normal fan such as this who watched the Broncos in preseason with a mind of their own, someone who makes decisions on their own, could easily tell the Broncos front seven was playing much better then in previous years under the ass end of the Shanahan era.

How do you explain such scathing analysis of a defensive front seven that was playing better, even in preseason?

Perhaps they didn’t like the coach.

Maybe they didn’t like the personnel he brought in.

Maybe they didn’t like that Huckdort got kicked to the curb.

Perhaps they were so blind as to think Jay Huckdort Cutler was the entire franchise and the Broncos had no chance of a winning a game without him.

Perhaps they didn’t like that Shanahan was fired, or didn’t like how McDaniels handles the press in comparison.

Might be someone who complained all offseason, someone that bellyached about the Broncos not doing things their way.

Or maybe it was someone jealous of McDaniels, jealous since their critical viewpoints of him and his decisions made their flawed intellect look like a steaming pile of crap with the addition of peanuts falling off.

Whatever it may be, there was and is a severe Broncos bias going on in the Denver sports media and abroad. It is finally being eradicated with supreme tact, illustrious football acuity and most importantly: results. I was a bit pissed that this Dallas game was close, all the pundits claimed this was the first real team the Broncos faced, if they want to think that, then that’s fine with me. We outplayed them, deserved to win, yet we were practically handing those losers the game out there. They were beating themselves with mistakes. I know this team ain’t a 4-12 team even if we did drop that one, but the rest of them were just waiting to pounce on Denver after the game. The long knives were ready since there were a lot of egos and mental acuity at stake for some.

I figured many of these Denver sportswriters chastising McDaniels at every turn were probably bottom feeding off of flawed reports of so called geniuses in high profile positions such as that weasel John Clayton, and maybe that goober Peter King. After all, these guys should have expert analysis? they should know something?

I’m beginning to think it’s the other way around. We likely have a trove of traitors, losers and severely demented individuals in the local Denver sports media that were and are so hell bent on their way being the right way, trying to prove McDaniels wrong at every turn, so adamant that they’re the real geniuses that they’re willing to sabotage this team, even going as far as to cast the woeful specter of doubt upon a newly acquired player.

These Peter King, John Clayton losers probably called up the local Denver media to get opinions from reporters close to the situation. After all, bigwigs like John Clayton and Peter King can’t be bothered with acquiring Broncos information themselves, they got bigger fish to fry like Favre stories, Brady’s knee and how many warts that Romo’s probably contracted by now.

I wonder if this local Denver guy is providing Mark Schlereth with his talking points? Makes you wonder don’t it?

Mark Schlereth, eh? Can’t take away what he did for this team, but that was the past. Doesn’t change the disgraceful green bile he’s been spewing from his mouth all preseason and season long. Must have been pissed at Shanahan’s firing, either that or he simply don’t know who the hell he is any more. Denver’s front seven is “garbage” picking Dallas to win, claiming the Cowboys would run roughshod over our defense, what a joke. What an assclown this guy turned into all of a sudden.

Broncos fans, we’ve got yet another unprecedented loser in our midst.

Someone willing to spew venom into the heart of a newly acquired player. To cast doubt on this man’s decision making skills, the integrity of his team.

Whoever it was, you ought to be ashamed of yourself, you loser.

You egregious pale turdage on the ass end of a circus elephant.

You better come clean. Whoever it was, be a man or woman and come clean. The American people are a forgiving sort, and will forgive you, if you do the right thing and fess up.

Otherwise, if you don’t, or give a bunch of half baked excuses, then we don’t need you, and we never did.

What a joke, what a disgrace, you better learn to love this McDaniels whoever you are, better learn to love our defensive personnel, what the hell are they 1st in the damn league right now?

It’s probably someone who wrote all off season long how the team was sure to fail, all off season long claiming McDaniels don’t know what he’s doing.

Well you’re logic has failed, and your football acuity simply sucks. This team ain’t the best in the league, but they sure as hell are improved and are moving in the right direction. They are certainly not a lowly 4 and 12 “expansion team.”

It’s like in politics folks, the know it all pundits gather round and spew a bunch of crap about how some candidate, some major player better do certain things, better act a certain way. Then when they don’t do it their way, when their prognostications end up sucking big time, they either make a bunch of lame excuses that they were “almost right,” or they cause chaos. Can never admit they were wrong, can never fess up until it’s plainly obvious, or never at all.

Sound familiar eh? That John Clayton picked Dallas last week, said they’d run all over us, and told Denver fans to quiet down because the team wasn’t all that. His 3-13 prediction was still in effect although in weasel like fashion backpedaled a bit claiming 6 and 10, and he absolutely could not wait to put pen to paper on Monday morning claiming genius and that Dallas showed the Broncos were a joke and a fluke.

At least he had some balls to reverse his flawed, decrepit understanding of this team in the post Huckdort pre McDaniels era. But not until the facts bifurcated his false sense of genius.

Jerome Bettis:

– More apologies: To Josh McDaniels. Before the Broncos played even one game the jury was out on that guy: He was cocky, he was brash, he was young, he looked like a high school kid, and he’d made some boneheaded decisions that broke up a good team. Being a head coach was a little bit over this guy’s head.

After Denver defeated Dallas, we have to reassess those decisions: letting Cutler go; the way he handled Brandon Marshall; bringing in Mike Nolan to lead the defense. We have to look at the people he surrounded himself with — those were some solid choices. He took on his biggest challenge yet with Dallas, and it was a defining moment for this coach. He validated all of those choices. We were all wrong.

Apologies, I want that Paige and that Krieger over at the Post to apologize now. Maybe that Kiszla too, but he’s all over the damn place you can’t ever tell where he stands. Paige backpedaling, going back on his prediction, waffling and whining since he should be right. He should be the genius. Maybe everyone ought to throw up their hands and rip up their season tickets, since Paige claims the Broncos won’t win another game. His 6,7,8 and 8 backpedaling “adjusted” claim is as impotent as a crazy old man fumbling with bottles of horny goat weed.

Whoever this false prophet is, this cancer from within you better come clean now. Apologize to the fans, the players and McDaniels. Come to the right conclusion that you’re a moron and a snake oil seller. A bona fide sea cucumber slithering about the ranks of reporters who is probably jealous of McDaniels.

You people wonder why I use the term sea cucumber. You ever seen one of them things, eh? Not pretty. Slithering about, feeding off the bottom, feeding off a bunch of crap. Turning that crap into more crap. Regurgitatin fecal matter all over the damn place. That guy there who eats donkey balls, duck eyes or whatever, that Survivorman on TV or whoever the hell he is ate one of them things and said it was the worst thing he ever tasted. Like eatin a damn burnt snakehead. So now you know if you didn’t prior and previously.

I want to thank one of my watchdog’s out there who reported this to me via the site Mile High Report. Keep fightin’ the good fight buddy.

Denver Post:

Woody Paige takes a guess at the Broncos starting roster of players and mentions the Broncos hired a new director of video operations Steve Scarnecchia. Woody seems to imply the signing is controversial since Scarnecchia worked with the Patriots video staff from 2001-2004 and the Jets for the last three years. Two years ago a Patriots assistant was caught illegally taping Jets defensive signals and “Scarnecchia’s name came up.” Sounds a bit more like a slow news day.

Paige also offers advice on what to look for during camp and how to approach players for autographs in his mailbag segment.

Lindsay Jones reports the Broncos early depth chart positions will remain very fluid with starters rotating in the morning and afternoon workouts. Players coming off injuries D.J. Williams and Brandon Marshall were held out from another day of practice.

Jeff Legwold looks at of rookie Center Blake Schlueter’s rise from small town life to the NFL. Schlueter is listed at 279 pounds, the smallest of the Broncos offensive linemen, but McDaniels described him as a “really strong player, a great athlete at his position, who plays bigger than he is.”

Vikings WR Bobby Wade claims Brian Urlacher called new Bears quarterback Jay Cutler the p word that sounds like wussy in private. Urlacher denies the comment.

CBS4Denver:

A piece on rookie CB Alphonso Smith surfaces at CBS4, the Broncos will give Smith every opportunity to be the versatile player he was in college.

Colorado Springs Gazette:

Frank Schwab reports the Broncos quarterbacks also arrived in camp a week early, in addition to the rookie players.

DenverBroncos.com:

A piece on Tight Ends Richard Quinn and Marquez Branson who became friends before the draft and were both signed by the Broncos. The article also talks about how Josh McDaniels has been happy with Alphonso Smith’s play and attitude thus far and that he’s been pleased with the information retention of the Broncos new quarterbacks.
